The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) revealed that Copa CEO Pedro Heilbron will present the keynote address for the inaugural Latin American Regional Summit, within the Global Education Conference in Miami, Florida (May 6-8, 2007.)

Heilbron will present Aviation Trends: Latin America and Beyond, an in-depth perspective on critical elements shaping the global airline industry. The Latin American Summit is one of several educational advances and resources being announced by the ACTE this month.

The Latin American Summit is a highly focused agenda within the overall conference program, said ACTE Executive Director Susan Gurley. It will provide travel management executives from Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Mexico, Panama, and other Latin American countries with a unique forum for interaction with each other, and with the international business travel community. Pedro Heilbron brings both boardroom insight and personal experience in keeping with the high level nature of this event.

Heilbron`s presentation will offer a Latin perspective on the issues such as route rights, consolidation, the rise of low-cost carriers, developments in distribution, and how the industry`s response will impact corporate purchasers. In a unique arrangement for summit participants, ACTE has provided for individual responses to submitted questions. This is one more way in which the intimate nature of ACTE conferences works in favor of our membership, said Gurley.
