Radius Travel Sales and Account Management teams complete GBTA’s GTP Certification Program

GBTA’s GTP Certification is designed to raise industry standards, enhance work performance and recognize individuals who demonstrate core competencies essential to the business travel management discipline.

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) announced that global travel management company, Radius Travel, recently had its entire sales and account management teams complete the exam to become certified as a Global Travel Professional (GTP). GBTA applauds Radius Travel’s foresight to train its salesforce, facilitating professional development and elevating the status and credibility of its professionals in the business travel industry.

GBTA’s GTP Certification is designed to raise industry standards, enhance work performance and recognize individuals who demonstrate core competencies essential to the business travel management discipline. Taking the GTP Certification communicates a commitment to one’s career to peers, supervisors and the industry at large. It measures the knowledge demonstrated by business travel professionals in a valid and reliable way, while encouraging professional growth in the field of business travel management.

“We’re happy to give credit where credit is due and in this case, Radius Travel certainly deserves praise with the focus and commitment to improving their global sales focus and also for further raising industry knowledge and know-how by having their entire sales and account management teams earn their GTP,” said Heather Trusty, GBTA Director of Certification.

Kieran Hartwell, SVP of Global Sales and Service at Radius Travel said, “Our mission at Radius Travel is to make global work. Everything we do is about being experts and advocates for our customers and creating tailored programs for them. That’s what drove our decision to have our sales and account management teams obtain the GTP certification.”
