Warwick International Hotels pursues its selective strategy in the MENA region

Warwick International Hotels to manage and operate the first Warwick branded hotel in Qatar.

DOHA, QATAR – On February 12th, Warwick International Hotels (WIH) and Al Madaen Group signed a new management contract to manage and operate the first Warwick branded hotel in Qatar. The management agreement was signed in the presence of Mr. Khalid Al–Mahmoud, Executive Board Director of Al Madaen Group, Engineer, Ehab Selim Al Madaen Group General Manager and from the Warwick International Hotels side by Mr. Jamal Serhan Chief Operating Officer Warwick International Hotels, Mr. Sausse Sebastien, Director of Project Management MENA for WIH, Ms. Nadia Madi, Regional Director Of Sales & Marketing MENA for WIH, and Mr. Hesham Radwan the General Manager of Warwick Doha Hotel.

The Warwick Doha Hotel is a spectacular luxury boutique hotel. From lavish guest rooms and suites to the art deco marble lobby, meeting and function space, executive lounge, variety of dining experience, the tranquil spa and outdoor swimming pool, the hotel offers an ultimate experience in indulgence.

Al Madaen General Manager revealed that the first phase of the Warwick Doha Hotel will be opening during current year, comprising of 164 rooms and suites and by the end of 2017, the hotel capacity will reach 250 rooms and suites.

“This is the eighth hotel (after two in Jordan, Winter Valley Resort & Spa in the Dead Sea and the Warwick Il Palazzo Hotel & Suites in Amman; three in Lebanon, Warwick Pangea Beach Resort & Spa, Warwick Hotel Palm Beach and Warwick Stone 55 Hotel, in or near Beirut; one in Dubai, the Warwick Dubai Hotel and one in Iraq, the Warwick Babylon Hotel) that will embrace the Warwick brand name in the Middle East region, all under management contracts, in less than three years”, underlines Jamal Serhan, Chief Operating Officer Warwick International for the Middle East and North Africa region.

Al Madaen Group General Manager said that the total investment of the project is approximately QR 400 m, noting that the hotel is located in the heart of Doha city area of al Sadd, making it very close to business centers, the downtown area, the Doha International Airport as well as sports & conferences centers in the City.
