WTAAA welcomes the Spanish Federation of Travel Agents (CEAV) as a new member

The next WTAAA board meeting will take place in early April in Rome, Italy and the CEAV will be represented on the board of directors of the WTAAA.

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM – The World Travel Agents Associations Alliance (WTAAA) welcomes its newest members in the Spanish Federation of Travel Agents (CEAV) who are the host travel agency federation of the annual Summit of Presidents of Travel Agency Associations.

The WTAAA draws its members from a broad range of travel agency associations who represent members from across the world and the new inclusion of Spain via CEAV is a welcomed addition to the WTAAA.

“The WTAAA has had a longstanding working relationship with the CEAV in supporting the annual summit of travel agency associations Presidents and we welcome CEAV to the membership of the WTAAA as we deepen our important relationship with them,” said Jayson Westbury, Chairman WTAAA.

“We are really pleased to welcome the direct membership of CEAV for their members from Spain, and this will bolster the European membership of the WTAAA, which is currently provided so well by ECTAA,” said Westbury.

“Our existing members, who represent the USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Brazil, Australia and 31 European countries via ECTAA, look forward to working with the CEAV to ensure the opinions and concerns of Spanish travel agents are firmly on the WTAAA agenda,” concluded Westbury. “We have enjoyed our working relationship with the WTAAA during the last 3 years of the agency summit and our membership to the WTAAA will forge a deeper bond with our travel agency association colleagues from across the world,” said Rafael Gallego, President of CEAV.

“CEAV looks forward to contributing to the ongoing work of the WTAAA and we are very pleased to be joining this global voice for travel agents,” said Gallego.

“The global travel agency community faces many challenges in the years ahead and we believe it is important to be at the table with the WTAAA to ensure our views and opinions can be expressed,” concluded Gallego.

The next WTAAA board meeting will take place in early April in Rome, Italy and the CEAV will be represented on the board of directors of the WTAAA.

Rafael Gallego of CEAV has been appointed a Director of the Board of WTAAA and Eva Blasco also of CEAV as a Deputy Director.
