Expis guest with one of the world’s best orchestras

FTI

FTI invites travel agency experts to the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Dortmund on September 26, 2023 for inspiration in the city travel sector. From September there are new packages at FTI to experience the musicians in their home in Amsterdam.

Munich, August 16, 2023 – A glamorous evening of music by one of the most famous orchestras: the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra from the Netherlands. As part of an exclusive concert, travel agents can take the opportunity to get to know the artists with conductor Klaus Mäkelä and pianist Yuja Wang with their own ears. “In order to be able to sell an event or a holiday trip perfectly, travel agents always use personal experience and conviction. We are therefore pleased that we regularly offer such experiences on FamTrips and campaigns and that in this case we can now impress travel agency employees with the magical sounds of musical greats,” emphasizes Richard Reindl, Head of Sales at FTI.

The reception in Dortmund begins on September 26, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. with sparkling wine, appetizers and a welcome from the concert director. Then you can take your seats and listen to the pieces by the ensemble. The event ends at around 9:00 p.m. The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra has been considered one of the top three symphony orchestras in the world for more than 130 years. The musicians are at home in the eponymous concert hall “Concertgebouw” in Amsterdam. Every year the instrumentalists give around 75 concerts by composers such as Gustav Mahler, Richard Strauss and Anton Bruckner and play guest appearances in the most famous halls in the world.

From autumn 2023, the artists will again be playing regularly at their venue in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. A visit to a performance in this building is also very worthwhile because, with its very good acoustics, it is one of the most important venues for classical music in the Netherlands and in the world. “Concert tickets can be booked with us in a package with a hotel or individually from 58 euros per person,” says Juliane Berauer, Head of Product City Breaks at FTI. In addition to the musical highlight, the capital also offers numerous other sights such as the canals, the red light mile “De Wallen”, characteristic narrow houses and buildings such as the Anne Frank House or the Rijksmuseum. Attraction tickets can also be pre-reserved through FTI to avoid long lines.
