FTI presents new Nile catalogue

With the new edition of the Nile catalogue, FTI supports travel agency employees in selling the advice-intensive products on Egypt’s lifeline.

With its 44-page catalogue, the tour operator FTI offers the best conditions for travel agency employees to jump on the wave and successfully sell the “Nile Cruise” product, which requires intensive advice, at the counter. “A large selection of ships, an excursion package yes or no, a beach holiday beforehand and then a stop in Cairo afterwards – countless possibilities mean a great need for advice and a lot of know-how, which is where we want to help,” explains Richard Reindl, Director Sales and Marketing at FTI GROUP.

Varied program

In the new catalogue, the Egypt specialist now presents a selection of more than 15 cruisers as well as routes from classic Nile cruises and special tours such as the Lake Nasser route with the five-star deluxe ship Sunrise M/S African Dream, which is new to the program from FTI is. But round trips such as the “Mysterious Oasis Siwa”, the eight-day tour from Cairo, via Marsa Matruh and Alexandria, should not be missing. In addition, three or four-night stays in Cairo in combination with Condor’s connections from Frankfurt am Main to Sphinx Airport will be presented. Also new is the short tour Sinai & Jordan, which is presented in detail for the first time with visits to the St. Catherine’s Monastery and the rock city of Petra in Jordan and which can be ideally combined with a bathing stay in Sharm el Sheikh.

Premium fleet on the Nile

As usual, FTI has a high-quality fleet on the Nile consisting exclusively of five-star ships in the 2023/24 winter season. “We sent a team of experts to Luxor to inspect the current fleet and put it through its paces,” explains Sebastian Wagner, Strategic Destination Officer Egypt. In the course of this, the new category “Superior +” was introduced to make the quality of the ships even more transparent. In addition to Comfort, Superior and Deluxe, the new Superior+ category creates more transparency. “The focus in the new winter season is clearly on higher-quality ships for the classic seven-night tour,” says Sebastian Wagner and continues: “We see that there is high demand for exclusive Nile cruisers, so of course we want our customers to do the same offer the right product.” From November, the market leader in Egypt will have four deluxe ships in its exclusive fleet, including ships from the Jaz hotel chain.
