Sister Airport Agreement signed beteween SEA Milan Airports and Shenzhen Airport Group

ISTANBUL – Shenzhen Airport Group and SEA Milan Airports signed a Sister Airport Agreement to establish mutual sustainable development at Routes World 2023 event taking place in Istanbul.

According to the agreement, SEA Milan Airports and Shenzhen Airport Group will exchange experiences and mutual development, as well as joint marketing activities, jointly supporting air carrier’s sustainable operation. This important milestone also contributes to fostering innovation by exchanging ideas and best practices and by collaborating in joint projects.

Mr. Chen Fanhua in charge of the passenger sector of Shenzhen Airport Group stated, “Milan is one of the world’s largest metropolitan areas as well as the world’s fashion and art center. Owing to joint efforts, Hainan Airlines launched Shenzhen-Milan direct services this year on September 20th. Signing a SAA with SEA Group will further enhance the link between Shenzhen and Milan.”

Mr. Andrea Tucci, V.P. Aviation Business Development of SEA Milan Airports, stated: “The signature of the SAA with Shenzhen Airport Group marks an important milestone for the development of air traffic between Milan and China. Shenzhen is a strategic gateway to China as it is the third most economically and technically developed city after Shanghai and Beijing. By signing today, the SAA we put in place a strong cooperation sharing insights and best practices.”
