2015 Rugby World Cup: Hotel prices peak at £1018 in Cardiff

The largest increases can be found in Cardiff, where prices have increased by up to 1095 per cent, reaching an average of £1018 for the Quarter Final at Millennium Stadium on Saturday 17th October.

LONDON – With ten days to go until the 2015 Rugby World Cup is hosted in England and Wales, hotel search website trivago.co.uk has analysed hotel prices and availability in the host cities. A hotel stay on a match night will cost an average of £261 (184 per cent above the average of £92 during 2014), with prices increasing for each match in each city.

The largest increases can be found in Cardiff, where prices have increased by up to 1095 per cent, reaching an average of £1018 for the Quarter Final at Millennium Stadium on Saturday 17th October.
