Agents are looking for American vacation rentals

IAVRA is filling the vacation rental demand by signing on agents in the most requested regions.

IAVRA
, the vacation rental platform for travel professionals recently polled 1,000 of their international travel agents to find out where clients were most requesting holiday rentals in 2013. America came out on top. Agents were most interested in holiday rentals in Florida, Hawaii and California. New York apartments and South Carolina beach properties were also a high priority for IAVRA travel agents.

IAVRA continues to grow its portfolio and always takes its lead from the travel agents. With a surge of interest for American vacation rentals, IAVRA has signed up a number of new property agents representing properties across California, Florida, Mexico, Hawaii and Saint Lucia.

Business Development Manager, Yianni Dimitriadis explains, “We are always looking to develop new territories and bulk up our representation in key regions. But our acquisition strategy is always led by the feedback we get from our agents. If we are not providing the right product on the site then IAVRA is not doing its job. Our agents asked for America and we delivered.”

The last 2 months have also seen over 10 new property companies sign up with portfolios across Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, Austria, Mauritius, Argentina, Colombia and Uruguay. IAVRA continues to focus on handpicking the most reputable agents with first-hand knowledge of their properties and an interest in reaping the benefits of working with travel professionals.

As Partner Sybil Napolitano explains, “We are looking for the cream of the vacation rental crop. Our focus has always been on quality over quantity and in ensuring that IAVRA’s property agents take pride in their portfolios, really know their properties, and can provide the top-level service expected of our discerning agents.”

Travel Agents account for 1/3 of US travel sales, according to The Once and Future Agent 2011 PhoCusWright report. Property agents can therefore really benefit from listing on a dedicated agent platform like IAVRA. IAVRA ranks first online for professionally managed villa rentals for travel agents, as well as being the first stop for IAVRA agents trying to satisfy a holiday rental request. And unlike with other listing platforms, properties on IAVRA are not competing against 100,000 other listings.

Property agents listing on IAVRA are amongst the best in the industry and their properties are exclusively promoted to international agents who are looking to make vacation rentals a core product offering and who can deliver solid bookings.
