Prestigious 2016 Hospitality Awards honour 32 hotels across Canada.
TORONTO – Choice Hotels Canada, franchisor of ten hotel brands including Comfort, Comfort Suites, Quality and Ascend Hotel Collection, announced the recipients of the 2016 Platinum and Gold Hospitality Award.
Chosen from more than 320 Choice Hotels Canada properties, the recipients make up the top 10 per cent of its hotels. The 33 honourees include 11 Platinum recipients, which represent the top three per cent of Choice Canada’s portfolio. The remaining 22 received Gold Awards. To qualify for a Platinum or Gold Hospitality Award, properties must excel in a variety of categories including guest satisfaction and independent quality reviews.

2015 was a landmark year for Choice Hotels Canada with the launch of a new corporate identity and a record year of portfolio growth. The company continues to strengthen its brands across the country, through a combination of new build and conversion hotel entries, ongoing rejuvenation of the existing system and successful growth of the Ascend Hotel Collection.
