Choice Hotels International selects AT&T Connectivity and Mobility

Franchisees can use preferred provider for fast, reliable Internet and Wi-Fi connectivity.

DALLAS – AT&T has been selected by Choice Hotels International, Inc. to deliver internet, Wi-Fi, and mobility solutions.

Choice Hotels franchises approximately 6,500 hotels representing more than 500,000 rooms worldwide across 11 brands, including Ascend Hotel Collection, Cambria, Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Sleep Inn, Quality, Clarion, MainStay Suites, Suburban Extended Stay Hotel, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn.

Connectivity for guests and back-end operations is essential to a guest's stay, and demand has never been greater.

With AT&T Internet and Wi-Fi solutions, Choice Hotels can offer franchisees a single provider to bring fast and reliable connectivity to guests. These solutions are now available at Choice properties across the U.S.

Guests at participating locations will use AT&T Wi-Fi to work efficiently, enjoy entertainment or just stay connected. AT&T is providing wireless access points, equipment, installation services and 24/7 guest support for Wi-Fi at Choice properties.

With AT&T internet connectivity, Choice properties can stay connected over a dedicated fiber line. This helps back office applications run smoothly. Corporate offices also use the reliable and secure AT&T MPLS network to run operations in the U.S., Australia and the UK.

"We are pleased to be working with AT&T as a Qualified Vendor (QV). Our QV program identifies best in class hospitality offerings, taking out the guess work for our hotel franchisees and enabling them to focus on what they do best – delivering exceptional guest experiences," said Rick Summa, vice president of Procurement Services for Choice Hotels. "Connectivity is key for today's traveler, and AT&T is providing high-speed reliable connections whether they stay at our hotels for business or leisure."

Choice Hotels has stringent requirements for its preferred vendors based on quality, reliability, performance and value. Through its Qualified Vendor Program, Choice franchisees have the option to take advantage of a negotiated brand discount from AT&T, simplifying the purchasing process at the hotel level.

AT&T also provides mobile connectivity to Choice employees with solutions like AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk. The new agreement lets Choice Hotels International expand current mobile solutions to additional properties and more easily manage operations to improve guest services.

"We share a passion with Choice Hotels International for transformative technology," said Linda Rogers, vice president, AT&T Global Business Enterprise Solutions, AT&T. "We're here to help Choice provide the best experience to guests and empower its employees with the tools needed to do so."
