Collaborative economy takes off with HomeExchange and Lufthansa Affiliation

Lufthansa will offer all European members of HomeExchange.com a promotional voucher worth up to GBP15 (EUR20) which can be used when booking their next Lufthansa flight on LH.com.

LONDON – Two global travel brands HomeExchange.com and Lufthansa announced a new partnership that will provide mutual benefits to members of both organisations.

Lufthansa will offer all European members of HomeExchange.com a promotional voucher worth up to GBP15 (EUR20) which can be used when booking their next Lufthansa flight on LH.com.

It also includes the launch of a joint summer holiday social media campaign and photography competition running throughout June and July called #VIKey. Travellers with both brands have the chance to win Lufthansa Business Class return flights and luxury home accommodation with HomeExchange.com. All entrants have to do is share a photograph of the one object that symbolises their own personal “key” to get away – be it surfboard, sun lounger or anything else.

The announcement is another example of how the collaborative economy is reaching the mainstream.
