NEW YORK, NY – eviivo, a leading global hospitality software company, has expanded to the U.S. with the opening of a New York City headquarters, in addition to itso Austin, Texas office. As part of its global commitment, eviivo is celebrating by opening its prestigious eviivo Awards, known as “The Oscars of Independent Accommodations” presented during International Week of the Host, March 21 to 25, to U.S. and Canada. The contest is open to all property owners, hoteliers and hosts who run, manage and operate independent accommodations, from boutique hotels and B&Bs to vacation rentals and cabins.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to bring our renowned eviivo Awards to the U.S. and Canada,” says Michele Fitzpatrick, CEO of eviivo. “Our mission has always been to help raise awareness of the growing independent accommodation sector, which has become more important to us post Covid-19. Travel has been significantly impacted over the past few years, and we know property owners, hosts and hoteliers in independent accommodations have struggled, so we aim to support and encourage them now – and well into the future.”

eviivo Awards, which is presented annually in the U.K. during International Week of the Host, was put on pause during Covid-19. After two years, the awards are back – and they will now take place in Germany, France and the U.S and Canada, in addition to the U.K..

For eviivo Awards in U.S. and Canada, eviivo is inviting property owners, hosts and hoteliers who run, operate or manage independent accommodations – whether a B&B, vacation rental, boutique hotel, cabin, urban rental, and any independent property with rooms to sell – to submit for three award categories: Outstanding Host, Unsung Hero, and Hottest Property of The Year!

  • Hottest Property Award: The Hottest Property Award recognizes properties that simply have that “wow” factor. Whether they are forward thinking in design, have cool features, the hottest properties are the types that go viral on social media. Show to us that your property is the hottest place of the year, and how you transformed it into a visual phenomena.
  • Unsung Hero: The Unsung Hero Award will reward the employee, nominated by owners, whom they rely on for their businesses to be successful – individuals who keep the business going, the glue that holds everyone together, and the virtual pillars of the property who deserve to have their time in the limelight.
  • Outstanding Host: The Outstanding Host Award is designed to recognize the owners, managers, hosts who not only go the extra mile but also exceed expectations for their guests and can demonstrate the building of a service culture throughout the operation of the accommodation.

On March 24, eviivo Awards will recognize, highlight and honor the award winners and runner-ups.

Prizes
Each category winner in the U.S. and Canada region will receive $1,000 USD to put toward their property.

Runners-up will each receive a $250 USD credit toward the cost of their eviivo subscription or OTA commissions (contestants do not need to be an eviivo customer to enter).

Both winners and runners-up will receive a special plaque to mark the occasion and recognize the quality of the services they provide. They will also be promoted by eviivo on eviivo.com and through our social media and communications program.

eviivo Awards will be a virtual event streamed simultaneously in the UK, US, France and Germany on March 24 at 7pm BST/8pm CET and again at 8pm EST in the US. Anyone is welcome to participate viewing the proceedings, the announcement of the winners and secret celebrity guest hosts!
