Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes: The five-star resort forms a new identity on the Pacific Ocean

Previously known as Grand Solmar At Rancho San Lucas, the property looks for a new identity tied to its natural wonders.

LOS CABOS, MEXICOSolmar Hotels & Resorts introduces Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes, previously known as Grand Solmar At Rancho San Lucas, the hotel renews its name and image to highlight the property’s natural attributes, while maintaining the quality of its services and experiences.

With a short-term growth plan, it is expected to reach 598 keys within two years, part of an overall project that will expand not only the number of rooms, but also the gastronomic and entertainment offerings. The new resort will feature a sports bar that includes virtual reality simulators and food that highlights the best dishes of Baja California Sur. These changes are expected to gradually roll out over the next 6 months.

Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes is a unique resort, surrounded by desert landscapes with extensive golden sand dunes and high waves unique to the landscape of the Baja California peninsula. Beyond the ocean views and the beach atmosphere, the resort has exquisite restaurants, swimming pools and a seawater lagoon with water activities and slides, and an original spa with wellness treatments.

In addition to the name change, Solmar Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of its new General Manager, Pablo Marconi, a passionate hotel executive with more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Marconi has worked with international hotel brands in 4 countries in the luxury market and has experience in re-branding processes. Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes enters this new stage with Marconi’s leadership and strong strategic vision.
