Historic South Beach Hotel rebrands as The Stiles Hotel

The former Nash Hotel now accepting reservations for Miami travelers.

MIAMI – Miami-based Trust Hospitality announced the opening of The Stiles Hotel, formerly known as the Nash Hotel, located at 1120 Collins Avenue in South Beach’s historic Art Deco district. Now accepting reservations, The Stiles Hotel has completed renovations of its 54-guest rooms and lobby area, with a new restaurant planned to debut in early spring.

Originally known as the Primrose Hotel, and later revived as The Hotel Nash, the new Stiles Hotel has been named to honor the late John Stiles Collins, the renowned land developer credited for Miami Beach’s growth. It was John Stiles Collins who recorded the first use of the term “Miami Beach” and to honor this milestone the famed Collins Avenue was named after him as a tribute. The property has been a South Beach landmark for decades, making its debut at 11th & Collins in 1936, following the land boom of the 1920s. Rich in history, The Hotel Nash ushered in a new era of style, captivating Magic City visitors with old school Hollywood glamour and genuine hospitality.

Since the 1980s, South Beach has been undergoing a revitalization that has lured a new generation of young, adventure-seeking, leisure travelers looking for an authentic South Beach experience. With that in mind, The Stiles Hotel has created a new hotel experience for guests that captures the alluring and eclectic spirit of South Beach that has resonated with visitors for years.

“The Stiles Hotel will offer travelers a contemporary oasis in the heart of South Beach, while remaining true to its historic Art Deco roots,” said Patrick Goddard, president & COO of Trust Hospitality. “We are excited to bring this property back to life and reclaim its status as a sought-after hot spot in Miami. With the name change and renovations, this timeless hotel will radiate a neighborhood feel and chic vibe where guests can rediscover the beauty and authenticity that is South Beach.”

In addition to the renovations of its guest rooms and lobby, The Stiles Hotel will showcase a new restaurant, Primrose, which pays homage to the property’s original name. South Beach is known as a global melting pot of cultures from around the world and, to stay true to that essence, Primrose will entice guests with Paris-inspired selections, Far East fare and traditional American cuisine. Tied together with a full bar and menu of custom cocktails, Primrose will open its doors to visitors and locals alike in early spring.

The boutique hotel aims to provide guests with a home away from home by offering unparalleled service and amenities including an expansive pool deck with three unique dipping pools, well-appointed cabana rooms, in-room and onsite dining options, complimentary Wi-Fi, and close proximity to Miami’s famous beaches, restaurants and nightlife.
