Slated to open in Spring 2024, the property was recognized for exceptional architecture & design.
CAYMAN – Hotel Indigo® Grand Cayman, the new flagship property of the Hotel Indigo brand, was honored at the 2023-2024 Americas Property Awards held in Toronto, Canada on September 22, 2023. The property, developed by Dart, was recognized in the Hotel Architecture for the Cayman Islands and New Hotel Construction & Design for the Cayman Islands categories. The Americas Property Awards celebrate the highest levels of achievement by companies operating in all sectors of the property and real estate industry.
“We’re thrilled to have been singled out by the renowned Americas Property Awards this year,” said Justin Howe, Dart President of Real Estate Asset Management. “As our flagship property for the brand-new Hotel Indigo brand, Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman’s recognition is proof positive that we have the makings of a truly successful hospitality venture.”
The largest and most prestigious program of its kind, the Americas Property Awards are judged by an independent panel of over 80 industry experts. Judging focuses on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability. The judging panel is chaired by Lord Best and Lord Waverley, members of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament. The Awards are in their 30th year and cover over 50 different residential and commercial categories.
A unique boutique hotel combining local experiences, modern design and intimate service, Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman is slated to welcome its first guests in spring 2024. With year-round sunshine, steps from Seven Mile Beach and the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa (another award-winning Dart property), the lifestyle hotel will offer 282 guest rooms with views across the Caribbean Sea, multiple restaurants, an expansive pool deck and rooftop bar. Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman’s design is inspired by the pulse and rhythm of the islands, with nods to classic maritime history with all the luxurious trappings. Meanwhile, the tranquil, clean-lined rooms are dotted with local art and glass vases of leafy native palms.
