The luxury boutique Hotel Providence was awarded one of Meetings East Magazine`s Annual Best of the East Awards.
The hotel opened in early 2005 and has since received several awards and recognitions including Four Diamonds by AAA, Best of New England by Yankee Magazine and New England Travel and Life, as well as historic preservation awards.
The Best of the East Awards are voted on by the readers of Meetings East magazine, which has a subscription base of more than 22,000 meeting professionals who are qualified as booking meetings and events in the eastern U.S. and Canada. Qualified planning professionals vote on their favorite properties in which they have had a great meeting experience. Votes were cast on the following criteria: quality of meeting space; quality of guest rooms; efficiency and helpfulness of staff; quality of food; availability of technical equipment; availability of recreational facilities; and finally the overall value and experience.
