DUBAI, UAE – For the first time IHG Hotels & Resorts is collaborating with MDLBEAST – a leading entertainment company rooted in music culture in Saudi Arabia to serve as a key partner across various festivals in the kingdom.
Festival Activations
As the official hotel partner, IHG Hotels & Resorts is bringing its unique approach to hospitality to Riyadh and Jeddah, offering festival goers, music fans and IHG One Rewards members the opportunity to experience immersive activations at the festival grounds:
- An upside-down hotel room container for a captivating and highly Instagrammable photo opportunity
- A futuristic, AI-inspired secret room, creating another engaging and sharable experience for MDLBEAST’S Gen Z and Millennial audiences to enjoy
The MDLBEAST partnership kicked off at XP Music Futures early December, followed by the biggest music and cultural festival in the Middle East; Soundstorm from 14-16 December 2023 in Riyadh. Soundstorm drew several thousand of music fans, thanks to performances by some of the biggest names in the industry, including Metallica, Timbaland, 50Cent, David Guetta and Calvin Harris. In 2024 the partnership will continue, heading to the Red Sea at Jeddah’s Balad Beast festival.
VIP Access Packages
A first for the region, IHG One Rewards members based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have been invited to bid on IHG’s Access platform for VIB (Very Important Beast)/festival tickets. If that wasn’t enough to guarantee a magical festival experience, select IHG One Rewards members were invited to the IHG Hotels & Resorts VIB hospitality box, a private and personalised experience curated by IHG.
