Luxury retreats adds two C-suite executives

As Chief Revenue Officer, Julien Zakoian, who will be based in New York City, will be responsible for sales, marketing, communications, public relations, product and engineering. Chief Hospitality Officer Luis d’Orey Facco Vianna Vianna, based in Montreal, will be responsible for guest and owner experiences, portfolio management and development, human resources and remote operations.

MONTREAL – Luxury Retreats has made two new hires at the executive level to support the company's ongoing growth: Julien Zakoian has joined as Chief Revenue Officer and Luis d'Orey Facco Vianna has joined as Chief Hospitality Officer.

"In addition to connecting owners and guests, Luxury Retreats brings a premium component to the community marketplace for vacation homes in two ways: we hand-select only the best villas in the world, and we deliver 24/7 concierge services to guests," said Luxury Retreats founder and CEO Joe Poulin. "Julien and Luis bring valuable expertise and fresh ideas to our rapidly growing team, and we are thrilled to welcome them aboard."

As Chief Revenue Officer, Zakoian, who will be based in New York City, will be responsible for sales, marketing, communications, public relations, product and engineering. He has over 16 years of experience working with luxury brands in the e-commerce space. Previously, Zakoian was Chief Marketing Officer for Vente-Privee, the multibillion-dollar worldwide leader in online flash sales in the categories of fashion, luxury, sport & outdoor, hi-tech, wine and travel. He also served as Chief Marketing Officer and U.S. General Manager for Brainly, the world's largest social learning network for middle school and high school students.

"It's a privilege to be trusted with our guests' most precious commodity: their free time," said Zakoian. "I am delighted to join the Luxury Retreats team on their mission to elevate the community marketplace for vacation homes to a new level."

Chief Hospitality Officer Vianna, based in Montreal, will be responsible for guest and owner experiences, portfolio management and development, human resources and remote operations. Prior to joining Luxury Retreats, Vianna served as Chief Operating Officer for the John Paul Group and Global Chief Operating Officer for LesConcierges. These two companies merged in late 2015 to form the industry's leading customer and employee loyalty group, specializing in enhanced concierge and premium customer brand loyalty services worldwide. Prior to that, he worked for WhiteConcierge, the leading European concierge company delivering high-end loyalty services, eventually serving as CEO.

"Luxury Retreats provides a turnkey solution to meet the needs of premium villa owners, who are vastly underserved in the accommodation platform market," said Vianna. "I am honored to be working with this dynamic team to deliver truly unforgettable experiences to both owners and guests."
