Make a booking in seconds with Google+ login and HRS

The app is being hailed as a time-saver for time-poor travellers, who can now cut out the laborious manual completion of booking forms meaning that anyone booking with the HRS app can do so in a matter of seconds.

HRS
has announced its latest mobile feature, in one of the most important innovations in hotel bookings. Using the HRS app, booking forms can now be populated with data from a user’s Google+ profile, automatically including their name, phone number and email address. This development means that users can now make easier and faster bookings with just the touch of a button.

The app is being hailed as a time-saver for time-poor travellers, who can now cut out the laborious manual completion of booking forms meaning that anyone booking with the HRS app can do so in a matter of seconds. Booking is now a simple two-step process and is available for all Android devices and iPhones.

Another key feature of the HRS app sees guests receive a smartphone message on the day of arrival once within 10km of the hotel. The message includes all relevant booking details, with an additional ‘Call HRS’ button that will establish a connection with HRS’s 24/7 hotline, available for questions, feedback or instant help.

The new features with Google+ also mean that it is possible to recommend hotels via the +1 button on all Android devices. This means that users can share the hotel and add comments in Google+ circles. The app also allows the easier creation of and login to a personal ‘My HRS’ account. By clicking on the Google+ registration button the app will automatically populate the application form. After this one-off registration, users may list hotel favourites, use booking templates, determine individual preferences and view booking history via MyHRS.

“It is our aim to make hotel booking for travellers as easy and as fast as possible and to specifically tailor our services to their travel situation”, says Bjorn Kramer, Director of Mobile & New Media with HRS.

“Our new features now allow for bookings that can be made within the blink of an eye, saving valuable time. We are also thinking one step ahead: It is imaginable that, after your booking, a list of Google+ contacts can be displayed, all of which are in the vicinity of the booked hotel or have a relation to the city visited. You could easily combine business with pleasure after you have finished your work”.
