New California Hotels Corporation to open newest and largest resort in Lauderdale By The Sea

The former Holiday Inn is undergoing a complete transition, two brand new restaurants, a pool with cabanas, and other amenities creating the feeling of a "Malibu style" property in Florida.

LAUDERDALE BY THE SEA, FLA. – After two years of planning and development, New California Hotels Corporation plans to unveil OCEAN ONE in the Spring of 2014. The venture brings two new boutique concepts to Lauderdale By The Sea, OCEAN ONE Resort and The Bungalows. The OCEAN ONE Resort is located at 4116 Ocean Avenue. The Resort will be Lauderdale By The Seas’ largest comprised of 186 guest rooms located on 3.5 acres of land adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean and 26 Bungalows directly on the beach. The former Holiday Inn is undergoing a complete transition, two brand new restaurants, a pool with cabanas, and other amenities creating the feeling of a “Malibu style” property in Florida.

“Over the last two years, we have worked with Raymond Ballasiano, a renowned Boca Raton architect with over 40 years of experience in hotels to generate ideas that were truly unique for the hotel community,” says Richard Halstrom of New California Hotels Corporation. “As the General Contractor, we’ve brought in Ken Avellant of Sunsational Properties in Parkland, FL to turn these ideas into reality.”

The hotel will feature the following:
– Courtyard Pool area with Cabanas
– A connected 4 Star VIP Section on the Atlantic  (26 Units)
– Hi Tech Modern rooms
– A Fine Dining and Casual Dining restaurant
– Bar and Lounge with property-wide service
– Live Entertainment nightly
– An HD Projection “Wall” with Surround Sound (poolside)

“The Bungalows” at OCEAN ONE
The company has gutted and is remodeling the former Villa Caprice Hotel into luxurious rooms and suites at the 4-Star level. The Bungalows are located beachfront to the Atlantic Ocean. Both properties share the OCEAN ONE check in area for customer efficiency.

The property will be managed by Marshall Hotels and Resorts of Salisbury, Maryland an award winning management company with 52 hotels under management.
