New luxury boutique hotel introduces Starlit Spa Nights, Gourmet Food and Beverage Tastings, dult Game Room & more for guests

CABO SAN LUCAS, MEXICO – Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos, the newest addition to the illustrious Velas Resorts portfolio, announces an exciting lineup of programming options ahead of its grand opening in November. The luxury adults-only sanctuary is set to offer daily tequila and mezcal tastings, spa nights under the stars, and a bespoke game room crafted exclusively for adults.
Culinary Offerings:
  • Mexican Wine & Cheese Pairing: Included in the nightly rate, a regional cheese and wine pairing will be offered weekly highlighting Mexican wines paired with artisanal cheeses from varying states of Mexico like Chihuahua, Oaxaca, and Michoacán. Highlights include the hebra maduro cheese, complemented by the Casa Madero Shiraz from Coahuila; Cotija Cheese and Tres Raices Rose from Guanajuato; and Quesillo fresco cheese, accompanied by a Sierra Blanca Sauvignon Blanc from Valle de Guadalupe.
  • Mood Shot Bar: Guests can kick-start the day with a wellness shot from The Mood Shot Bar, a kitchen concept designed to energize and refresh. From vitamin shots to cold press juices, four options will be offered daily included in the nightly rate.
  • Mexican Chocolate Tasting: This exclusive private experience lets guests embark on a tasting journey of 12 flavors of Mexican designer chocolates, ranging from a fiery Tabasco origin chocolate with chipotle honey and almond praline to a white chocolate infused with Valle de Guadalupe zinfandel reduction and pink pepper. Available for $140 USD per person, this private experience requires a minimum of four participants.
  • Tequila & Mezcal Tastings: Spirit enthusiasts can look forward to daily tequila and mezcal tastings in the exquisite Agave Room. A haven tailored for devotees of iconic Mexican distillates, Agave tasting room is a tribute to the nation’s authentic spirit. A curated assortment of premium tequilas and mezcals, from gentle, oak-aged varieties that have matured in barrels to character-rich ‘reposados’ and artfully crafted mezcals, each libation embodies the passion and mastery of Mexico’s distillers. Featured tequila brands include Casamigos, 1800, Don Julio 70, Montelobos, 400 conejos, and more, all included in the nightly rate. Private experiences also available upon request.
Oceanfront Wellness Under the Stars of Los Cabos:
  • Guests can experience celestial serenity with an under-the-stars massage in a region recognized by NASA as one of the top 20 places for night-sky research. Held in the hotel’s oceanfront spa cabins nightly until 10:00 pm, each session blends traditional Mexican healing techniques with individual preferences. All treatments at SE Spa include the Grand Velas signature water ceremony, a transformative progression through saunas, steam rooms, ice rooms, jacuzzis, and a rejuvenating magnesium pool.
An Adults-Only Game Room:
  • Guests can get in the game with a blend of nostalgic and sophisticated entertainment. From classic games like Chess and Scrabble to modern favorites like Codenames and “Do You Know Me?”, guests will be entertained while enjoying a snack menu that is guaranteed to bring back childhood memories. Cotton candy, bubble tea, Italian sodas, ice cream, and s’mores complement cocktails, mocktails and a large selection of premium spirits and wines.
