The Capsis Hotel Chain<.>, headed by Lena Capsi, is moving forward with its dynamic expansion plans which are focused on the introduction of three new units in Thessaloniki, Athens and Iraklio, Crete.

Construction has begun on the hotels, which will all be built in the neoclassical style to the highest standards. Capsi intends to establish at these hotels the same friendly atmosphere which exists at the firm`s other units.

The latest addition in Thessaloniki will be known as Capsis Bristol and should be completed by May. The Athens Capsis is set to begin operating in January of next year while the Iraklio unit will be known as the Megaro and should be welcoming its first guests by April 2001.

All of the new hotels will be in the five-star category in contrast to the existing units, namely the Astoria Capsis, the Capsis and the Pantheon Palace, all of which are four-star.

They have been designed so as to blend in with their environment as well as the local architectural style. Staff members are friendly and highly trained. All of the inhouse restaurants will serve either international or traditional Greek cuisine.

Each hotel will offer conference rooms and areas which can host special events and exhibitions.
