Renaissance Nashville Hotel acquires additional space at the Nashville Convention Center

The addition equips the hotel with 100,000 square feet of dynamic meeting space.

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Renaissance Nashville Hotel, a vibrant destination in the heart of Music City, is pleased to announce the acquisition of additional meeting space at  the Nashville Convention Center, which is directly connected to the hotel. The new 70,000-square-foot meeting and pre-function space is a welcomed addition to the hotel’s existing 30,000-square-foot space.

This acquisition was partly possible because of the development of the 1.2 million-square-foot Music City Center, located two blocks away. With the hotel’s addition of the adjacent meeting space, larger groups have one stop shopping and servicing of their function.

Ashford Hospitality Trust, the owners of the downtown Nashville hotel, will soon re-concept aspects of the convention center’s interior to provide a more modern, welcoming destination for event guests. Beginning late fall 2013 through March 2014, the hotel will have brand new, beautiful guest rooms. Currently, all leisure and business travelers have access to more than 50 private Club Level rooms, a full-service restaurant – Commerce Street Grille, The Bridge lounge, an indoor pool, a gift shop, a state-of-the-art fitness facility and an on-site business center. The hotel is within walking distance of Bridgestone Arena, Tennessee Performing Arts Center and the Ryman Auditorium.
