Rotana expansion in the Gulf

The expansion of Rotana hotels in the Gulf area for 2013 seems to be very rich with hotels in Bahrain and Oman, as well as in Dubai, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi based Rotana, the hotel management company of the Middle East & Africa, is extending its Gulf portfolio with an additional nine properties by 2013.

Rotana will open its first properties in Bahrain and Oman, its second hotel in Qatar and will extend its portfolio in the UAE by an additional six developments, three of which are scheduled to open in October; Al Ghurair Rayhaan by Rotana, Dubai, Al Ghurair Arjaan by Rotana, Dubai and Centro Capital Centre, Abu Dhabi.

Selim El Zyr, President and CEO of Rotana comments, “One of the key areas for growth that we are currently addressing is development across the Gulf region. We will grow our portfolio of four brands by expanding into Bahrain and Oman and we will also be boosting our presence in the UAE and Qatar.  Our growth is supported by our continued commitment to evolving our product offering in line with travel trends and guest preferences.”
