Seven-story boutique property to open with 99 guestrooms and suites, an elevated pool deck with private cabanas, VIP gaming, and innovative dining with 'The Bike Brewery'.
BELL GARDENS, CALIF. – Bell Gardens‘ landmark Bicycle Casino is stacking the deck on hospitality. Introducing The Bicycle Hotel & Casino, a seven-story, 117,907 square-foot boutique luxury hotel addition to the Bicycle Casino, unveiling December 1st, 2015. Raised by commercial luxury general contractor R.D. Olson Construction with architecture by Lee & Sakahara Architects and interior design by Hager Design International Inc., the hotel will open with 99 elegant rooms and suites, innovative dining concepts such as The Bike Brewery, and resort amenities including a full spa and elevated outdoor pool deck with private cabanas. The Bicycle Hotel & Casino will bring unprecedented sophistication and style to the Los Angeles hospitality/gaming sector and cater to the full spectrum of card-cutting enthusiasts, national and international guests, and premier poker tours.
The future of Los Angeles hotel gaming begins just 10 miles from the Downtown Los Angeles skyline. Valet takes over at the four-lane porte-cochere, and the lobby experience lights up with a custom chandelier of 1,660 crystalline strands. A floor design of overlapping circles (inspired by a bicycle wheel) winds its way to a variety of amenities, including dining, a coffee house, a gift shop, entry to the casino concourse, and a VIP gaming area of bold Asian influence and decor. The second floor is all resort: a state-of-the-art fitness center, an outdoor pool deck with private cabanas, and the hotel spa and sauna exceed the modern traveler’s wellness needs. Additionally, 9,000 square-feet of multi-purpose event and private meeting space will lend itself to business functions, traveling conventions, and banquets.
After a run at the casino’s 185 tables, guests can relax and re-energize in elegantly appointed deluxe guestrooms, designed to be tranquil retreats. Plush king and queen-size beds are complemented by California-inspired furnishings and lavish bath amenities by L’Occitane En Provence. For guests seeking premium accommodations, 29 luxury suites will range from the Classic Suite (766 sq. ft.), the signature The Bike Suite (1,018 sq. ft.), the extravagantly curated Governor’s Suite (1,529 sq. ft.), and a Presidential Suite (2,040 sq. ft.) fashioned to host and impress with its two bedrooms, formal living room, and Jacuzzi tub. In-step with the hotel’s modern appeal, The Bike Brewery hotel restaurant will pioneer a craft beer scene in Bell Gardens with 28 taps highlighted by The Bike Brew – a blonde ale by Golden Road Brewery exclusive to The Bicycle Hotel & Casino. Other food options include the Coffee House, a 24-hour Snack Bar, and in-room dining.
“With the addition of the hotel property, The Bicycle Hotel & Casino is now a full-service, multi-sensory gaming and resort destination for Los Angeles and all of Southern California,” explains Managing General Partner & CEO Hashem Minaiy. “Our vision was to design and build a sophisticated and luxurious hotel property; an urban retreat which welcomes guests locally, nationally and internationally.” Robert H. Carter, President of Carter Management Group, Inc., a General Partner of The Bicycle Hotel & Casino, describes the new destination as “a true four-star experience featuring modern guest rooms, lavish suites, a resort-style pool with cabanas, a tranquility spa and more. It’s a dream fully realized, a perfect complement to the casino, and we can’t wait to share it with our guests.”
After years of planning and construction, a $50-million investment, and a groundbreaking with California Governor Jerry Brown, The Bicycle Hotel & Casino is poised to take Los Angeles gaming to unrivaled heights as a stay-and-play destination.
