Its ground floor living room has direct access to the large furnished terrace overlooking the flowing tidal estuary. Here you can dine alfresco or relax in the large hot-tub.
Inside, the nautically themed living room has two chic cream sofas seating five, two matching pouffes, a coffee table, elegant side tables, handsome lamps, a model yacht, and a feature bookcase on which works of art are displayed. Entertainment is provided by the wall-mounted flatscreen TV with Sky+ HD. There’s even Apple TV, a Blu-ray DVD player and an iPod docking station.
On the same level is the impressive kitchen and dining area, which also has direct access to the furnished decking with river views. Featuring an electric oven with grill, electric ceramic hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, the well equipped kitchen also comes with a full range of utensils and accessories including a microwave, kettle, toaster, blender and cafetiere. In addition to a generous dining table for eight, the open plan space comes with a wall-mounted TV with Sky, a DVD player and iPod docking station.
On the first floor lies the impressive second living room, which has French doors that open up on to the attractive Juliet balcony. Furnished with two sofas seating six, two armchairs, a coffee table, and a stylish wood burning stove, this room, which has been beautifully finished with original works of art and large light diffusing ceiling lamps, is a great place to entertain.
Just off the living room is the tower in which the private study can be found. Furnished with a bespoke semi-circular desk to fit the contours of the room, this attractive space is the perfect place to escape to read a book, or to plan activities for the coming days using the complimentary PC.
The property’s four bedrooms are spread out over the first and second floor. Each is generous in size with three of the rooms having king-size beds and one a queen-size bed. Each has great waterfront views and attractive bedside cabinets with lamps, wardrobes, chest of drawers and mirrors.
The master bedroom has its own sofa, a separate walk-in dressing room, and an en-suite with shower and separate bath. The family bathroom serves the other bedrooms and is located on the first floor, featuring a bath with overhead shower, separate shower cubicle, wash basin, WC, heated towel rail, shaver point and mirror.
Elsewhere in the house is the games room and gym, which is fitted with a dart board, wall-mounted TV, cross trainer, weight bench and free weights.
Outside is the secluded Summer House, which overlooks the tranquil tiered gardens, providing a great place to escape for quiet contemplation.
