Business travel technology disruptor, TripStax, has confirmed that the ninth module in its fully connected proprietary stack of business travel tech applications will be named TripStax Hotels and will officially launch to market in Q4 of this year.
The TripStax Hotels module is the next evolution of Hotelzon – the B2B hotel booking platform which TripStax acquired in December 2022. It will be seamlessly integrated with the TripStax Core – a centralised data processing warehouse – enabling customers to benefit from the power of the other modules within the TripStax ecosystem (Analytics, Approve, Content, Docs, Mobile, Portal, Profile, and Track). Customers who subscribe to TripStax technology will now have the ability to take advantage of a fully integrated 9th module enabling hotel booking, upselling and the increase of attachment rates.
The launch of TripStax Hotels also signifies another major milestone as it enables the addition of hotel content to TripStax’s Content module, which already contains multiple GDS and non-GDS air providers. Various TMC customers have connected to the Content module since TripStax launched in March 2022.

Marika Karjalainen, previously Head of Customer Service at Hotelzon, has been appointed as Managing Director TripStax Hotels. She also joins the TripStax leadership team. Her career with Hotelzon began in 2004 in a customer support role, advancing in 2010 to become Manager of Customer Operations, managing teams in Sweden, Romania and UK. Since 2019 she has overseen Hotelzon’s commercial operations and played a key role in Hotelzon’s transformation from a privately owned company to an agile hotel technology partner when the business was acquired by Travelport in 2014.
