Vivo Resorts & Residences celebrates completion of Residences and Clubhouse

The resort community has completed its first 100 luxury homes and guest suites along with a $7 million dollar Clubhouse.

OAXACA, MEXICO – Vivo Resorts, a luxury oceanfront resort and real estate development located along the picturesque beaches of Puerto Escondido, announced the completion of its first 100 residences and newly opened Clubhouse.

A favorite jet set for Canadians, the development is now attracting travelers from the U.S. due to the recent popularity of Puerto Escondido and the growing real estate and vacation offerings. Today, the resort community has completed its first 100 luxury homes and guest suites along with a $7 million dollar Clubhouse.

Vivo Resorts which launched sales in 2009, was the vision of two-time Olympian downhill skier and World Cup champion Cary Mullen. After methodically searching for the perfect location in over 30 different destinations, Mullen decided Puerto Escondido checked off all the boxes, including investment potential of an emerging market, ideal weather, world-class recreational activities, incredible cuisine and the authenticity of the Oaxacan culture. The development features 1 to 3 bedroom beachfront condos and private villas, all with breathtaking views of the scenic mountains or the 12-mile stretch of untouched Pacific coast beach.

The 53,000-square-foot Clubhouse is the centerpiece of the resort’s courtyard and features Senses spa, an open-air spa concept with a traditional Temazcal and relaxing cascading water features; a fully equipped ocean view fitness facility with a separate yoga/fitness class studio; Ernestos, a farm-to-table restaurant serving fresh and inspiring Oaxacan cuisine; Mezcalina’s a Mexican Hacienda-style lounge and sports bar; a Kid’s Club with activities for children and conference and event space with ocean and mountain views.

“The timing is perfect for us to expand the Vivo brand beyond the Canadian market and position our resort and residences within the U.S.,” said Cary Mullen, president and founder of Vivo Resorts. “Puerto Escondido has emerged as one of the top destinations in Mexico for its value, outstanding weather, diverse activities and unmatched natural beauty, and this newfound interest has been favorable for Vivo Resorts. Our home ownership options offer a luxurious, yet laid-back beachfront lifestyle and a sound investment – while our resort features unmatched amenities in a unique setting ideal for vacationers looking to simply get away from it all.”

From the gourmet kitchen’s soft closing cupboards and drawers to 5-hinged solid wood doors and onyx sinks, The Vivo design philosophy revolves around quality, luxury and thoughtfulness. Every oceanfront suite, guest room and private villa is thoughtfully laid out for optimal use, optimal views, and a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor living spaces.  Vivo offers Condo residences, ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms available in four different finishing styles: Tropical, Pacific, Beach and Mexican.

The resort also boasts an infinity swimming pool with swim up bar, a family activity pool with a water slide, plus a new beachfront infinity pool is scheduled to open in Summer 2018.
