The Italian Wedding Summit, a one-of-a-kind global event, will take place from 21st to 25th March based at the Sheraton Golf Hotel. 

Wedding Planners, Travel Agents, Bloggers & Influencers, representatives of international event planner associations and LGBTQ associations from the main foreign markets will arrive in the capital to experience traveling experiences and locations directly in the “field” with a specific B2B program. Skal Roma is International Brand Ambassador of the event.

Through a traveling workshop, international wedding planners, walking around the eternal city, will live immersive sensorial experiences in places specifically chosen for their extraordinary beauty. Meeting tradition and innovation, tasting typical specialties and gastronomic excellences, enjoying the artistic atmospheres and architecture that make you dream: on the “wedding set” the participants will live as protagonists experiences that will tell the story of the extraordinary beauty of the city, leafing through some unforgettable pages written by the great cinema.

Traveling among famous Roman tailors, the wedding testimonials will immerse themselves in the atmosphere of that school of elegance that has made the Italian tailoring tradition unique in the world and the beating heart of Made in Italy. 

They will be protagonists in a photo shoot at the Spanish Steps, they will throw coins at the Trevi Fountain, they will go shopping in Campo De’ Fiori and cook traditional recipes, they will take part in high quality tastings and in the visit to the Castelli Romani they will visit a rare concession from the Administration In the Vatican, the Pontiff’s private apartments in Castel Gandolfo and the thousand-year-old abbey of San Nilo. 

Italian Wedding Summit

The selected Italian and Roman companies will have a unique opportunity to present their production to international operators with one-to-one meetings.

The eighth edition of the Italian Wedding Awards will take place on March 23rd at the Casina Valadier. During the Gala dinner, prizes will be awarded to operators who have particularly distinguished themselves for their activities in the sector. A selection of prominent international guests will be present, together with Italian companies that operate mainly in wedding tourism and the excellences that promote Made in Italy through entrepreneurial activity in international weddings. Gala dinner and IWS event will end with a fireworks display.
