In their new roles, Balbiers and Anderson will lead the company’s financial operations and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
FORT LAUDERDALER, FL – American Queen Voyages, part of Hornblower Group, has announced the appointment of Lissette Balbiers as Senior Vice President of Finance & Accounting and Susan Anderson as Director of Finance & Controller. Anderson will report to Balbiers while Balbiers will be reporting directly to American Queen Voyages President, Cindy D’Aoust. Together, they bring more than 45 years of extensive experience in finance, accounting and business administration to the executive team.

Most recently, Balbiers led the finance team as Chief Financial Officer at iAero Airways. Prior to that, she served as the Chief Financial Officer at Northern Aviation Services and the Chief Financial Officer – Network Operations & Aviation Americas at DHL.

Previously, Anderson was the Assistant Controller at Hornblower Cruises and Events, where she managed the accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. Prior to that, she was the Financial Controller at AKIRA Chicago and the Senior Accountant at Sidley Austin LLP.
