Azamara Cruises appoints Peter Ryan as new Business Development Manager in the UK

Prior to Celebrity Cruises, Peter Ryan spent 14 years working with the travel agent, Thomas Cook, managing sales and profitability across retail branches. Before Thomas Cook, Ryan worked as a travel consultant for Classic Travel – Worldchoice.

LONDON – Azamara Cruises – the small-ship cruise line renowned for Destination Immersion and Extended Destination Days – has announced the appointment of Peter Ryan as Business Development Manager, UK & Ireland.

Ryan brings with him more than 25 years’ experience in the travel industry, having previously worked at Thomas Cook, Classic Travel- Worldchoice and most recently, Celebrity Cruises. At Celebrity Cruises, Ryan held the role of Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast. Here, he was responsible for managing trade partner head office accounts, driving commercial targets and building strong relationships with the trade, which delivered incremental growth for the business. He also played an integral role in ship launches such as Celebrity Beyond and hosting ship visits with trade partners throughout the summer season in Southampton.
