The great success of the sold-out 2024 World Cruise has led Azamara to introduce additional world cruises for 2025 and 2026, both of which are also proving to be popular. 

LONDON – Azamara – the small-ship cruise line renowned for Destination Immersion and Extended Destination Days – has officially commenced Azamara Onward’s first-ever World Cruise, marking the start of an extraordinary 155-night journey. The exclusive World Cruise Welcome Party took place at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Fla1., bringing guests from all over the world together before officially setting sail.

Cruise Director Eric De Gray hosted the festive soirée, welcoming loyalty guests and Azamara newcomers alike. Chief Financial Officer Alain Ferzli also addressed the crowd on behalf of the entire Azamara team, expressing excitement and gratitude for the World Cruisers.

During the next five months, Azamara Onward will reach more than 40 countries in six continents with Extended Destination Days – including 22 overnight stays and 27 late nights in port – giving travellers ample time to fully explore the rich culture and history of each destination. The 2024 World Cruise also features 11 AzAmazing Celebrations and three exclusive World Cruise events, designed to provide an unparalleled and immersive experience for guests. World Cruisers will have the chance to indulge in extravagance and local entertainment during a full-day tour of the Taj Mahal and witness a unique performance in the second-largest underground cistern in Istanbul, Turkey, among other captivating experiences.
