The new, modern hotel will feature a robust food and beverage program with a hidden speakeasy and signature elements of the AC Hotel brand – thoughtfully designed accommodations, curated public spaces, and intuitive technology.
HONOLULU, HI – Highgate, a leading hotel management, investment and development company, has appointed Daniel Texeira as General Manager of AC Hotel by Marriott Honolulu. In his new role, Texeira will oversee all operations and management of the newest property in the AC Hotels by Marriott portfolio, scheduled to open January 2024.
With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Texeira joins AC Hotel by Marriott Honolulu from ‘Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach, where he held multiple positions over the past four years, most recently serving as Director of Operations. Prior, he served as Performance Development Manager for Marriott International in Hawaii. Texeira has also held positions at Moana Surfrider, a Westin Resort & Spa in Waikiki Beach and Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa on Oahu.

AC Hotel by Marriott Honolulu is a new urban retreat coming to Honolulu’s revitalized city center in January 2024. The first AC Hotel on the island of Oahu and one of the first business-traveler-driven concepts in the area, AC Hotel Honolulu is a 112-room boutique hotel located in the heart of the city’s business district.
