New Director of F&B appointed at Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa

Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa welcomes Imre Maraczi as Area Director of Food and Beverage.

GRAND CAYMAN – Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa announce the appointment of Imre Maraczi as the Grand Cayman property’s new Area Director of Food and Beverage With more than 20 years of service in the culinary industry and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, Maraczi is set to elevate the hotel’s dining offerings to new heights.
Born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, Imre’s professional journey began in the mid-1990s with an apprenticeship at the Kempinski Hotel Budapest, one of the city’s most esteemed hospitality and culinary destinations. He subsequently trained in five-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants, becoming an Executive Chef in 2003. He was working throughout Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean before moving into a Director of F&B role in 2018. Imre has been nominated and selected for Marriott’s ACE award twice, receiving the award of Best Executive Chef in Europe in 2017.

As Area Director of Food and Beverage, Imre will be responsible for overseeing all dining outlets within the hotel, including the acclaimed Ave, renowned for its delectable dishes and stunning views of the legendary Seven Mile Beach, as well as the recently opened Library by the Sea, an award-winning specialty cocktail bar. He will also be instrumental in curating special menus, enhancing guest experiences and fostering collaborations with local Grand Cayman suppliers to showcase the best of the destination’s rich culinary offerings.
