WestJet adds Nashville to expanding network

Five times weekly WestJet Encore flights from Toronto to Nashville are operated on Canadian-made Bombardier Q400 turboprop aircraft.

CALGARY – With the departure of flight 3650 from Toronto Pearson International Airport, Nashville officially becomes part of WestJet Encore's growing network of more than 35 destinations across Canada and the United States.

"WestJet is delighted to add the city of Nashville, our second WestJet Encore U.S. destination, to our schedule as we continue to strategically grow our network in response to demand," said Ferio Pugliese, WestJet Encore President. "Our schedule and connectivity to Nashville out of Toronto, combined with our low fares and caring service, provides a convenient option for those travelling to visit the area whether for leisure or business. In addition, those travelling into Toronto from Nashville have a convenient connection to the rest of WestJet's Canadian network. This newest destination is further proof of WestJet's continued commitment to providing more travel options and liberating Canadians, and Americans, from the high cost of air travel. We look forward to serving Music City, U.S.A."

"Welcoming a new airline and additional international service is a big win for our airport and the entire Nashville and Middle Tennessee region," said Rob Wigington, Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority President and CEO. "WestJet is known for its low-cost fares and outstanding customer service, and we look forward to introducing them to the Nashville community and having them join the roster of airlines serving BNA."

Five times weekly WestJet Encore flights from Toronto to Nashville are operated on Canadian-made Bombardier Q400 turboprop aircraft. This summer, WestJet and WestJet Encore will operate more than 120 flights per day from Toronto including new services to Los Angeles, Boston and London (Gatwick).
