“Our quarterly booking trends report provides the travel industry with useful information on where consumers who seek travel professionals’ services are planning to vacation in the U.S. and abroad over the upcoming summer travel season,” said Dic Marxen, President and CEO of CCRA Travel Commerce Network. “The appearance of four new cities on our Top 10 international cities list suggests several new trending 2015 summer vacation destinations abroad including: Edinburgh, Florence, Grindelwald, and Munich. These cities boast world-renowned festivals during the summer months featuring numerous art-related events such as: Edinburgh Art Festival, the UK’s largest annual celebration of visual art; the internationally acclaimed Munich film festival; the annual Florence carpet of flowers display that cover the city’s main square in colorful blooms; and the stunning natural displays of sculptures and creations in the great outdoors during Grindelwald’s Landart-Festival. On the domestic side, an exciting addition to our top 10 U.S Cities list is Traverse, Michigan, recently named an “up-and-coming food city” by Conde Nast Traveler and one of the “Must-See American Cities” by Horizon Travel Magazine.”

CCRA’s hotel and air booking engines allow travel agents to pass along incredible savings to their clients, when arranging trips to these leading summer travel destinations in the U.S. and abroad. Travel agents also benefit by receiving competitive commissions for an increasingly diverse array of CCRA preferred hotel and airline partners that truly value travel agent business.

Through CCRA AirSelect Central, travel agencies can book domestic and international airlines with auto-ticketing available 24/7, and receive commissions of up to 25 percent for qualifying reservations from CCRA preferred international airline partners. Agencies will then receive 80 percent of the total air commissions earned. Once bookings have been made, CCRA will handle the ticket fulfillment and will reconcile air carrier commission payments and service fees to travel agencies.
