easyJet partner with Business Travel Market

The deal represents a high profile and high impact agreement with easyJet providing return flights for more than 100 overseas and UK Hosted Buyers to bring them to the show.

Business Travel Market (BTM) and easyJet have signed a partnership that will see the airline become Official Carrier at the show in November 13. The deal represents a high profile and high impact agreement with easyJet providing return flights for more than 100 overseas and UK Hosted Buyers to bring them to the show. In return easyJet will receive exposure throughout the show and its popular Hosted Buyer Programme.

“With easyJet’s growing and extensive European network they are the ideal partner to bring in Business Travel Market’s key buyers to the event” comments Paul Robin, Event Director, Business Travel Market. “easyJet are keen to continue to grow their market share in the corporate sector and we’re delighted they have chosen to support BTM in a significant way.”

In addition, Paul Simmons, Director UK Market at easyjet will join the Business Travel Market Advisory Board, which plays an important part in the exhibition’s continued development.

Simmons commented, “easyJet is delighted to become Official Carrier at Business Travel Market and firmly believe that the decision to co-locate with World Travel Market will take what is already the preeminent business travel show to another level. Our airline has come a long way since the first flight from Luton to Glasgow in 1995. We now fly over 60 million passengers a year on over 630 routes. We serve more of the top 100 intra-European routes than any other airline, and are now also a FTSE 100 Company. Growing our share on business passengers on such a great network is something we are passionate about – which is why we are at BTM.”

Business Travel Market is less than eight months away, taking place 6-7 November at ExCeL London, but is clearly benefiting from its high profile co-location alongside two days of World Travel Market 13.
