ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA – Ethiopian Airlines, the fastest growing and most profitable airline in Africa, is pleased to announce the commencement of four weekly flights to Kano, Nigeria, starting May 24, 2014. Located in northern Nigeria, Kano is the second largest city in Nigeria.
Kano will be the fourth city in Nigeria served by Ethiopian Airlines, joining Ethiopian’s current service to Abuja (ABV), the capital of Nigeria; Lagos (LOS), Nigeria’s largest city; and Enugu (ENU). Ethiopian’s new service to Kano will operate four times a week with the following schedule:

The new route through Kano will allow passengers minimum layover in Addis Ababa, with the best possible connections to many global destinations in Ethiopian’s network such as Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah, Beirut, Cairo, Mumbai, Khartoum, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Washington, D.C., and Toronto.

Kano will be the airline’s 49th African and 81st international destination. Ethiopian currently serves 80 international destinations across five continents with more than 200 daily flights, and using the latest-technology aircraft including B777s and B787s.
