The north Atlantic “Vestnorden Travel Mart” will this year take place in Reykjavik from 11–13 September. Approximately 40 participants from Greenland intend to travel to the capital of Iceland where they will present their new products for 2007.
A small group of foreign buyers will also be offered the opportunity to experience Greenland with their own eyes. A circular tour will be held after the travel fair, partly based on Artic Umiaq Lines cruise product and partly seeking to present several new players in Greenland’s tourism market.
The involvement of the Greenland participants and the organisation of the circular trip are the result of close cooperation between Greenland Tourism and Business Council and Z Meetings. Z Meetings specialises in meetings and consultancy relating to the tourism industry and has handled the practical aspects of the event.
