Ryanair launches record Nuremberg summer 2017 schdule (+400%)

Four new routes to Bari, Madrid, Palermo and Porto, 800,000 Customers; New Nuremberg base opens November with two based aircrafts from summer 2017.

Ryanair launched its biggest ever Nuremberg summer schedule (2017), with 4 new routes to Bari, Madrid, Palermo and Porto, 5 new summer services to Budapest, Malta, Manchester, Milan and Rome (12 routes in total) and extra flights to London, which will deliver 800,000 customers p.a. and support 600 jobs at Nuremberg Airport, as Ryanair grows its Nuremberg operations by 400%.

Ryanair’s Nuremberg summer schedule will see more frequencies to sun destinations, lower fares as Ryanair passes on lower fuel costs, and an even better customer experience, as it rolls out year 3 of its “Always Getting Better” customer experience programme, and will deliver:

  • 2 based aircraft ($200m investment)
  • 4 new routes: Bari (2 wkly), Madrid (4 wkly), Palermo (2 wkly) & Porto (2 wkly)
  • 5 new summer services: Budapest (daily), Malta (2 wkly), Manchester (daily), Milan B (daily) & Rome C. (daily)
  • Extra flights to London S. (2 dly)
  • 12 routes in total
  • 56 weekly flights
  • 800,000 customers p.a.

Ryanair’s new Nuremberg base will open on 2nd November, with a second based aircraft being added from Summer 2017, as it continues to grow German traffic, tourism and jobs, making Ryanair the ideal choice for business and leisure customers, who can now book their flights to/from Nuremburg up to October 2017, on the lowest fares.

In Nuremberg, Ryanair’s Chief Commercial Officer, David O’Brien said: “We are pleased to launch our biggest ever Nuremberg summer schedule, which includes 4 new routes to Bari, Madrid, Palermo and Porto, new summer services to Budapest, Malta, Manchester, Milan and Rome and extra flights to London Stansted, which will deliver 800,000 customers p.a. and support 600 jobs at Nuremberg Airport, as we grow our Nuremberg operations by 400%. We look forward to the opening of our Nuremberg base at the start of November, with one based aircraft initially and a second based aircraft being added from next summer, an investment of $200m, which further underlines our commitment to growing German traffic, tourism and jobs.”
