Italgrob and Italian Exhibition Group together for the future of the HO.RE.CA. market

EG’s Group Brand Manager - Food & Beverage Division, Flavia Morelli and Italgrob’s Managing Director and Chairman, Vincenzo Caso.

A long-term agreement inked that will bring The International HO.RE.CA. Meeting to Rimini Expo Centre in the context of Beer Attraction 2019 (16-19 February).

RIMINI – The International Ho.Re.Ca. Meeting (IHM) organized by Italgrob, the Italian Federation of Horeca Distributors, and Beer Attraction (BA) of Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) will meet at Rimini Expo Centre from 16th to 19th February 2019, launching a unique extraordinarily powerful long-term event for the Ho.Re.Ca. distribution world.

The agreement, signed by the Managing Director of GBI Servizi Srl and Chairman of Italgrob, Vincenzo Caso, and IEG Managing Director Ugo Ravanelli, follows up on the long-lasting profitable collaboration between the two players which has always had the aim of being at the service of the growth and relations of the Ho.Re.Ca. community.

In 2019 the IHM will hold its eighth edition, which will bring to Rimini over 1,400 participants including distribution companies (850 company owners and collaborators), 320 vendors and 300 managers of industries producing goods and services for the catering/food service market. In fact, the IHM event is one of a kind, able to attract and gather the key players at the high end of the Ho.Re.Ca. chain.

BA, holding its 5th edition in 2019, is Italy’s leading trade fair dedicated to speciality beer and craft beer and is the reference point for all food service trade members, with the most complete national and international showcase of beers and beverages. BA is held simultaneously with BBTECH EXPO – Trade Fair of technology, equipment and accessories for beer and beverage production and packaging – and FOOD ATTRACTION – Food for Ho.Re.Ca. and new Catering and Food Service Formats.

While maintaining their respective formats and identities, IHM and BA will therefore offer the market a huge integrated showcase and unique opportunities for Ho.Re.Ca. sector trade members, with an audience of companies, key players, and specialized contents under the banner of completeness and excellence.

Focus on Italgrob
For over 25 years, Italgrob, the Italian Federation of Ho.Re.Ca distributors, has been the only association representing wholesalers and distributors of goods and services for the Ho.Re.Ca. trade. A member of Confindustria, Italgrob operates in political and trade union contexts, collaborating with the appropriate Institutions and Ministries. The Federation is committed in the context of trade training and with its Study Centre carried out continuous work of research and analysis on the Ho.Re.Ca. market along with a constant activity of information for the sector’s trade members via its in-house media.  Among its activities, ITALGROB has always provided exclusive services and special convention for its members and is also an executive member of CEGROBB (European Beverage Wholesalers Confederation) with which it carries out the necessary lobbying activities to safeguard the trade, in the wider context of European policies.
