Norwegian Cruise Line launches new NCL U destination module in Continental Europe

Online now, “Cruising the Mediterranean in Winter” focuses on Norwegian’s 2014/15 winter itineraries in the Mediterranean and to the Canary Islands.

WIESBADEN – Norwegian Cruise Line has introduced a new destination-themed module on NCL U, Norwegian Cruise Line’s online training platform for agents in Continental Europe.

Online now, “Cruising the Mediterranean in Winter” focuses on Norwegian’s 2014/15 winter itineraries in the Mediterranean and to the Canary Islands. The course will help travel partners to capitalise on the winter cruise market; increasing knowledge and boosting business, whilst providing further opportunities to earn NCL U points.

The short course is complemented with the availability of Norwegian’s dedicated winter escapes brochure, which features the Med along with destinations further afield, like the Caribbean, Hawaii and the Mexican Riviera.

For passing the 10-question, multiple-choice test at the end of the “Cruising the Mediterranean in Winter” course, agents will receive 25.000 points towards their NCL U points tally. And, in December all NCL U students will be entered into a prize draw where those having accumulated a minimum of 50,000 points can win fantastic cruise prizes.

Jurgen Stille, Director Business Development Continental Europe, Norwegian Cruise Line, said: “There are plenty of opportunities for our valued travel partners to benefit during the winter cruise season. This latest course will enable students of NCL U to find out more about our Mediterranean and Canary Islands itineraries, gaining the skills and product knowledge to boost their winter business. And of course, with amazing prizes up for grabs in our annual prize draw in a few months’ time, now is a great time to rack up those points and progress up the points table.”
