Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA ‘Norwegian’, Norway’s publicly-listed expanding low fare carrier, will commence three times weekly flights to Helsinki in Finland from April 11 this year. Flights go on sale with immediate effect at norwegian.com.

The new route will suit both leisure and business passengers travelling to the central European aviation hub of Budapest. “We know from experience this is an extremely popular route and we very much welcome Norwegian entering the Helsinki market to complement their direct services to Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen from Budapest,” said Budapest Airport Aviation Director Kam Jandu.
Norwegian is marking its eighth year at Budapest Airport since it launched its direct service to Oslo in 2004. The Budapest to Oslo service now operates five times weekly with departures Monday to Thursday and Sunday.
