More than 1,000 footcare specialists had an opportunity to learn about products and services from around the world that are on the market today.
Over 1,000 foot care specialists from all over the world participated in the FIP-IFP (International Federation of Podiatry) World Congress of Podiatry in Rome on 17-19 October 2013. The event was organised by AIM Group International Rome office for the first time with huge success in the number of participants as well as number of exhibitors.
The organising and scientific committee put together a program with wide variety of workshops, a diverse range of lectures, abstracts and posters. The ‘sold out’ exhibition showcased the latest podiatric technology, equipments and products. More than 1,000 footcare specialists had an opportunity to learn about products and services from around the world that are on the market today.
Besides the regular sessions, the conference also provided hands-on workshops dealing with specific issues such as “The art of fitting shoes to deliver style with comfort”, “The athlete’s foot”, “The mystery of shoe sizing and the critical role of last dimensions” and the “Diabetic foot”.
AIM’s Rome office started working with the “International Federation of Podiatrists” and the “Italian Association of Podiatry” in June 2012, when the company was appointed to provide professional services and organisation for this event. The conference, which was held in the Sheraton Roma Hotel and Conference Center, quickly reached a maximum capacity of exhibitors.
