Paramount Business Jets celebrates 10th anniversary by establishing new scholarship opportunity

Twice-ranked as one of INC 500's fastest growing companies in America, Paramount Business Jets has access to a global network of more than 20,000 available aircraft to suit an extensive variety of clients' travel needs.

LEESBURG, VA. – Worldwide aircraft charter provider Paramount Business Jets (PBJ) recently marked 10 years of assisting clients across the United States and around the globe with their charter aircraft needs by establishing a new scholarship opportunity for college students considering careers in aviation and aerospace.

Founded July 1, 2005 in Manhattan, New York and now headquartered in Leesburg, Virginia, Paramount Business Jets is committed to providing the safest, most reliable and best value private jet charter customer experience to all clients, from single-time charter users to members in the company’s well-regarded Platinum Services Jetcard and Paramount Black Card Membership programs.

“Even at 10 years later, PBJ continues to grow by leaps and bounds,” said Paramount Business Jets Founder and CEO Richard Zaher, a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) and the 2012 recipient of the university’s Alumni Eagle of Excellence Award. “In the past year alone, we’ve made significant technological advancements, expanded our charter sales teams in key international markets, and launched a dedicated private jet sales department.

“PBJ has reached a milestone and we are excited about the future, but more importantly, we have based our company culture on honesty and integrity,” Zaher continued. “We are committed individually and as an organization to always treat everyone fairly, to set an example, to promote a positive aviation environment, maintain a strong focus on safety, and to growing the greater aviation community.”

To that end, Zaher worked with representatives at his alma mater to establish the Paramount Business Jets Scholarship, dedicated to helping the next generation of aviation professionals with shouldering the burden of college tuition.

“Richard’s dedication in creating the Paramount Business Jets Scholarship for students of the university he graduated from displays his true understanding of strategic and meaningful philanthropy,” said Lyndse Costabile, ERAU’s director of corporate relations & development. “Embry-Riddle is grateful to Richard and the entire PBJ family for not just standing on the tarmac and watching our students take flight, yet grab hold of the yoke and help Eagles Soar!”

The PBJ Team consists of an incredibly talented and dedicated group of aviation professionals, pilots and engineers. In addition to developing a proprietary quoting system, airport proximity tool, and Time and Distance calculator in-house, PBJ has built and developed the most sophisticated central Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that connects team members locally and worldwide with every charter they organize, allowing them to manage every detail of every trip efficiently and seamlessly on a global scale.

“Our clients want unsurpassed safety, reliability and quality aircraft, on time and at a price that saves them money,” Zaher noted. “At Paramount, we empower the most knowledgeable and ethical aviation experts with state-of-the-art tools, training and technology to deliver tailored, world class service.”

Twice-ranked as one of INC 500’s fastest growing companies in America, Paramount Business Jets has access to a global network of more than 20,000 available aircraft to suit an extensive variety of clients’ travel needs. The Dun & Bradstreet Platinum-rated company is a member in good standing of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), and the Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA), as well as the Air Charter Association of North America (ACANA), for which Zaher also serves as Vice President.

“It is an honor to give back to where it all started for many of us, and I am proud to be part of the Embry Riddle family,” Zaher concluded. “We are a group of people who are passionate about aviation and strive to go above and beyond. This is exactly what we hope to do at PBJ, day in and day out. We want our clients and the aviation community to know that when they need a trusted private jet service, they can rely on Paramount Business Jets.”
