Prestige Holidays takes on tenstaff following upsurge in business

Prestige’s Lowestoft based Canada team is going from strength to strength and now comprises six staff, with a further expansion of the team and a move to a larger office planned for the end of the year.

Prestige Holidays has expanded its team by ten following a big upsurge in business over the last quarter. The independent operator has taken on new staff in reservations, marketing and administration.

John Dixon, Chairman and Managing Director, Prestige Holidays, comments: “We have had a tremendously positive start to the year. Our European ‘Destinations’ programme is up 14% year on year and our Canada business is up 30%. We have also seen an 18% increase in our Croatia sales and a 12% rise in our UK business.”

“The new staff have been appointed to cope with these increases and to help with the additional sales coming in from Sicily, which is our new star destination for 2013. We have already sold 70% of our budget for this stunning island.”

Agents still play a key part in the operator’s success and its six strong sales team meets regularly with key agents and also organises events such as road shows, customer evenings, fam trips and incentives to boost business.
