Rapid growth of Middle East region’s tourism industry prompts Al Basel Group to open new travel agency

Opening of new business proves to be timely and strategic as company reveals 25 to 35 per cent increase in consultations for high-end travel.

The Middle East’s travel and tourism industry is posed to witness more growth this year as global tourists are looking at visiting key destinations in the region like Dubai, Qatar and the KSA, according to recent industry reports. Looking to play a major role in the expected growth, Al Basel Group of Companies, has revealed its plans of opening a new travel agency, Tuwaiq, to help address the travel demands and requirements of both local and international tourists. The new agency, which will be located in Dubai World Central (DWC), is expected to reinforce Al Basel’s presence as a leading player in the region’s thriving tourism industry.

According to Al Basel senior executives, the move proves to be both timely and strategic as the company received a 25 to 35 per cent increase in business – stemming from consultation services rendered to high-end luxury resorts, hotels and high-profile clients. Banking on the group’s long years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, the new travel agency is looking to target the region’s middle and upper class segments from the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Turkey and Egypt. The agency will be offering key services like consultancy, booking, and mentoring.

“All roads lead to the Middle East as more and more tourists are opting to visit the region and see the many tourist attractions that we have to offer. The UAE’s recent win to host Expo 2020 has also acted like a catalyst that brings the UAE and the rest of the region in the spotlight, which is expected to drive in a large influx of visitors. This just means more business for our hotels, resorts and airports. With this in mind, we have opened Tuwaiq, to help these visitors with their travel needs and requirements. The new office will be staffed with world class tourism professionals who will always be on hand.”
