Ricardo Beverly Hills, Inc. announces promotion of Carmen Negrea to VP of Marketing

In her role as vice president of marketing, Negrea is responsible for developing and implementing global marketing strategies and initiatives that will build the Ricardo Beverly Hills brands awareness and drive revenue growth across all of the company’s channels.

KENT, WASH. – Ricardo Beverly Hills, a global leader specializing in the design, innovation and marketing of luggage and travel accessories, announced that Carmen Negrea has been promoted to vice president of marketing. Negrea oversees the company's global brand marketing operations.

With more than 12 years experience in the consumer goods industry, Negrea has significant marketing experience, including two and a half years at Fossil Group where, as global marketing director, she was deeply involved in the brand repositioning efforts and global re-launch of the Skagen brand.

Prior to joining Fossil, she served as group marketing director for Skagen Designs, where her contributions to the commercial success of Skagen while overseeing the product development and global marketing operations led to its acquisition by Fossil in 2012. Negrea joined Ricardo Beverly Hills as director of marketing on September 2015. Her consumer-centric, multi-channel brand marketing experience made her a natural fit for the Ricardo Beverly Hills operations.

In her role as vice president of marketing, Negrea is responsible for developing and implementing global marketing strategies and initiatives that will build the Ricardo Beverly Hills brands awareness and drive revenue growth across all of the company's channels.

"On behalf of Ricardo Beverly Hills, it is with great pleasure that I announce the promotion of Carmen to this important role," stated Paul Sarazin, president of Ricardo Beverly Hills. "Carmen's diverse experience, leadership and dedication since joining the company have been integral to our continued success, thus making this promotion most deserving and rewarding. I have the utmost confidence in Carmen's ability to lead us to further positive success as we accelerate our initiatives to build global lifestyle brands."

"I am proud to be a member of the Ricardo Beverly Hills team," said Negrea. "Consumers' needs in the travel arena are evolving and we have the opportunity to reach them in authentic, meaningful ways. It's an exciting time for our company and I feel fortunate to be able to champion our brands."

A former advisory board member for the American Marketing Association, and adjunct professor of marketing, Negrea holds a Master of Business Administration degree and is a Professional Certified Marketer. She is based in Kent, WA, and reports directly to Sarazin.
