Runzheimer International announces a new strategic alliance with Grasp Technologies, Inc.

The Runzheimer and Grasp alliance will provide business intelligence tools for bookings that are done directly with suppliers and online travel agencies so business travelers can shop and book directly with travel suppliers of their choice.

WATERFORD, WIS. – Runzheimer International announces a new strategic alliance with Grasp Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of data management, integration and intelligence, resulting in new technology tools for the business travel management industry.

The Runzheimer and Grasp alliance will provide business intelligence tools for bookings that are done directly with suppliers and online travel agencies so business travelers can shop and book directly with travel suppliers of their choice – all while using a company’s negotiated discounts. The result is that travel management companies and their clients have a more complete view of all travel expenditures in one central location including open booking, expense data, credit card charges and travel management costs.

“We have been looking for the right partners to bring together some of the new solutions we are creating at Grasp and to provide a new level of intelligence and data management for T&E per our strategic goals,” said Dave Lukas, VP Grasp Technologies. “When we saw what Runzheimer ‘s newly acquired Flex platform can do and how our cultures aligned as companies, the decision to work together was easy!”

Phil Hammer, Director of Travel Services for Runzheimer, commented, “We are very pleased to work with Grasp. Like us, they are true innovators in the industry and will help us reach our goals. We are excited for the future between our companies. Spend under management is the pursuit of travel procurement and this alliance will solidify our technical capabilities with quality services for our clients.”
